Why is it that 90% of the time the guys ask the girls out?

Boys are seen as the stronger sex; expected to take charge, be the protector, etc. Girls are seen as the weaker sex; more emotional, gentler, better to talk about things, etc.

It's all just cultural norms, really. In our society, men take the initiative in dating.

i was wondering that too. i was thinking that it was just a tradition. like how the girl normally kisses the guy first, most of the time. i think its just how it happens

in 6th grade i heard the guy is supposed to ask the girl out. kinda stupid, right? i've stuck with that "rule" ever since =P

Girl's are imtimidating. They are so perfect, beautiful and have personalities that boys can't deny, they just fall in love. Boys fall harder than girls. Boys also are very sexual, so they tend to ask out hot girls too, mix love and sex and the men always ask out women..haha.

It's just the way it works, I guess. I, personally, would never ask a guy out, LOL=)

guys are MORE likey to reject a girl, than a girl is to a guy. and guys care more about the looks more, too.

i dont know. but wouldn't it seem a bit desperate for a girl to be asking guys out?

cause women are more afraid of rejection!
