What do you think about Microsoft being forced to stop selling Word in the US?
A Texas Judge has ordered MS to stop selling MS Word in the US within 60 days and pay a $77 million dollar fine for patent infringement in their use of XML, a patent held by i7i out of Toronto.
What are you going to use now that MS Word will no longer be available? What do you think about this ruling?
Personally I think it is funny. I use Open Office on my Windows PC, and NeoOffice on my Mac anyways. But, I am interested in hearing what others have to say.

I honestly don't care. I use OpenOffice, so therefore it would not impact me in any way.

I think its silly and i think people will keep downloading it! I havent heard of this ruling yet but i doubt it will work, Microsoft will just re-release a similar program with a different kind of XML and charge more for it!
