H1N1 Vaccine--What are my options?

I am over fifty, and have a compromised immune system, due to chronic disease.

I fit the profile for someone who should get the H1N1 vaccine this fall but there is a problem. I have a severe allergy to egg-based vaccines (Before anyone asks, no I don't have a food allergy to chicken eggs. I don't know about duck eggs and don't intend to test that).

Will I have any options? Will there be a non-egg-based vaccine available?

The last time I had a vaccine of this sort was the Rubella vaccine when it first came out, and I went into anaphylaxis. I don't really like the idea of getting the shot and then having to get pumped up with antihistamines, but I suppose I will if this flu is as dangerous as they fear.

Any thoughts (Please no anti-vaccine people)?

Frankly its not worst it. H1N1 isnt common anyway. It was over hyped by the media. For example: There are 6,706,993,152 people on the planet. In 2009, 224,665 caught swine flu. That is .003 percent of the world population. And only 2063 died from swine flu. Thats a .00003% chance of death. If you think about it, bird flue + swine flu+ human flu, in the end, is just the flu. Of those that caught it in the United States (45,926) 447 died. That is less than 1% death rate, which is not very high. The normal flu on the other hand causes 36000 deaths per year. You are 18x more likely to die by the normal flu.

No its not worth getting the vaccine.
