1. No, an SD card won't help because it can only be used as storage memory. This page is optimized for a normal PC with much more resources that a DSi.
2. You can get yahoo messenger if you go with the web browser to http://new.m.yahoo.com/ This is a mobile version of yahoo (it means, optimized for devices with low resources like a mobile phone or a DSi) that lets you connect to yahoo messenger (also read your email).
You have also the possibility of http://mob.ebuddy.com/ where you can connect not only to yahoo messenger but also to aim, msn, google, and more.
3. About the flash player, it's not possible because of the limitations of the browser.
"...The Nintendo DSi Browser does not support Flash, animations, sound, video, PDFs, or any other files or programs that require a separate plug in, such as Java..."

1. Take off image downloader(or whatever it's called, it means the thing won't show images) and it will work. It's not the DSi memory that's full, it's the Internet itself's memory.
2. Not yet, but I think they could do that if Nintendo updates it.
3. No, it has no ability to watch videos at all.
