can i use this dongle in different laptops ie i have a laptop my husband has a notebook can we swap the dongle from each one depending on who needs to use it? also will i get internet access anywhere, i don't have to be at a hotspot do i?

Yes you can swap it and if you're paying for the ridiculously overpriced, slow, and limited data plan, then yes, you can also use it anywhere. Anywhere you get T-Mobile cell service at least.
