I normally cut it up in 1" cubes

saute onion, garlic, tomato in olive oil (you can use butter or cooking oil too)

then I add in the squash with a can of corn add a bit of water, pepper and chicken bullion to taste once the squash is Tender and the water is absorbed I top it with cheese.. use what ever you have on hand I have used all three before (Monterey Jack, Mozzarella, CHeddar) cook until cheese is melted.. I usually serve this with chicken, steak, or white rice.. its yummy!

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aUBVh

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

slice the squash in slices about 1/8 thick. Boil in water with some good sausage. No spices needed. Just let the sausage flavor the squash. If you like it spicy get spicy sausage. If you like it mild foods get mild sausage. I put my squash and sausage in a pot cover with water, bring to a boil, and then cover and simmer until the squash is soft. Only way I can get the kids to eat the squash. My dad fries his squash it is good also. but not as good for you as the sausage and squash.

just cut it up and sautee it with butter until its tender and add some corn sautee it for about 5 to 10 mins longer and top it with cheese, you can also add some onions, green chile and some cubed beef or pork.
