Pedal for Electric Violin?

I am looking for some reverb and basic improvement of my electric violin sound. I play receptions, weddings and coffee houses. I do not need wild effects.

Thanks in advance.

you can sometimes get reverb from the amp.

    but check out

    http://www.woodviolins.com/wvmb/viewforum.php?f=4&...

    and electricviolinshop.com

Wood Violins is the premier electric violin maker, founded by Mark Wood (who helped found Trans Siberian Orchestra). the link is to the message board equipment section. There are people on that board that have been playing electric for many years.

But I'd definitely say a multieffects, from Boss or Zoom.

    and possibly

a wah pedal (woodviolins makes one)

    a delay and loopstation.

Jazz violinist Jean Luc Ponty uses digital reverb and delay as well as occasionally using a chorus effect. These are very basic effects and can be found at any good music store
