My Child Was Just Stung For The First Time?

My Four Year Old was just stung. We don't have any allergy medicines for her and we are unsure if she is Allergy. Should I take her to the ER or wait and see how it does? Any thing that could help atm?

do not go to the ER. you wont know if she is allergic until the second time she is stung. you dont get anaphylaxis on your first sting.

wash the area. put some triple antibiotic ointment on it. she will be ok.

for future knowledge, if she starts having trouble breathing, face/throat swelling, dizziness, and itching, then you dont need to take her to the ER, you need to stay put and call 911.

Stung by what? I'll guess a bee or wasp? If so, put a cold pack on the wound and keep an eye on the swelling. If the swelling becomes profuse, or if she starts to have difficulty breathing, then take her to the ER.

if swelling starts to get severe than you should go to the ER to be on the safe side
