Computer upgraded itself to Office 2007?

My computer suddenly upgraded to Office 2007, and now it's asking me for a product key every time I try to use it and I have limited usability. Now my Office 2003 is nowhere to be found. How do I make new documents now when 2003 is gone and 2007 isn't working right? Is there a way that I can go back to 2003? This is driving me crazy!

Update:

I think it has to do with people sending me files that are in 2007. I am in school and some of the assignments are in 2007. I used to be able to use both of them, no problem (though 2007 was read only), but now 2003 seems to have disappeared. I tried uninstalling 2007 but I couldn't figure out how to reinstall 2003. Maybe I'll try again.

You need to uninstall 2007 and reinstall 2003. Save any .pst or .pab files in your own "My Documents" folder first.

And change your update setting to download but ask before installing, although it should have NOT upgraded to 2007 without asking for permission! (maybe someone clicked yes at some point?)
