Are the governments of countries with a higher religious population more likely to oppose LGBT marriage rights?
Is it plausable that those countries with a higher population of religous citizens, have a government that becomes biased due to that fact, Is it a possibility that such is the likelyhood they will become biased against LGBT equality?

In short: yes
Because the only reason people object to LGBT is because they are idio - I mean, religious (aside from the ick factor) religious countries 99.9% are anti LGBT rights. Also, the more educated you are, the more likely it is you will be Pro-LGBT rights, and, interestingly, the more educated you are the LESS likely it is you will be religious, especially if you specialise in science.
This is why The USA and Middle Eastern countries don't like gay people, while western Europe is mostly fine with it

Talk about going on a tangent. Don't be daffy who said you can't vote or get a speedy trial. Its people like you that tick others off , so who in their right mind would agree with you. Stick with the issue and not lie about things that no one even has brought up.

yes
if you look at the countries which have legalised gay marriage they tend to have very high atheist/agnostic populations
such as iceland and sweden.. i think that they each have over 70% of their populations claiming 'No Religion'
then look at countries like the middle east and africa where like 100% of people are muslim. and not only do they oppose gay marriage.. they oppose gay people (they get put in jail. or even the death sentence)
so yes.. there is a correlation

It depends on the religion being practiced and its stance with gay marriage. Some religions, like Gaydarology, will be more likely to want LGBT marriage rights.

yes definitely.. in alot of countries the churches r high up and may have political influence. and if the leader of the country is religious, they wont be letting any laws passed allowing gay marriages. Its all to do with the churches.

that's the least of gay people worries ,Jamaica has highest proportion of churches per head of the population ,gay bodies lay in the streets of Kingston .Iran routinely hangs gay boys ...the devil hides behind religion
