Getting a thumbs down? Does it make you sad?

Question

When somone gives you a thumbs down simply because they disagree with your opinion and not because of a "dumb" answer or unanswered question do you feel sad? Sometimes I do think thumbs down are neccessary, but not just because they DON'T like your answer. What do you think?

Yes, it does not seem fair when you give an honest, well thought out question and you receive a thumb down.
It is most likely a jealous person, do not take it personal and keep on answering.

At  first  it  did , now  I  pay  them  no attention,  it is  the  asker & the  voters  who opinions That count. &  their  are just  to many people  who thumb to  try& make  their answer look  better by  giving  thumbs down to every  other person who answered.  I received BA for answers  that  have had  up  to 7  thumbs down & it  was chosen  by the  person who asked, so don't let the  little stuff bother you, It is is the  Thumbs  up  that count in the end anyway  not the downs*
