FLW or B.A.S.S.? which league do you support more?
I like BASS better as well. I like the wrapped boats and jerseys (that started in FLW) but don't like the whole Wal-Mart mentality around it. I mean how can I cheer for the Kelloggs or Land-o-Lakes butter angler. BASS sponsors for the most part stick with the angling industry minus a few.

The FLW is sponsored by Wal-Mart. And I am not a big supporter of Wally-World, especially my local one.

OK.. I am a FLW member. I gave up the BASS after being around a number of events for both.
Two things to remember, BASS is owned by ESPN. It is just a product they use to put TV programs on air so they can sell ads.
FLW is owned by a few nice men from KY.I have met most of them at FLW events over the years. Yes, it to is set up so that they can sell a TV program and sell ads. FLW sets up most but not all of the boat wrap deals. THis is good for fisherman who are very good but do not have as much "Name" yet.
BASS is set up so that the Pros. need to find company to pay for the wrap of the boats. Pay for HUGE fees so that local fisherman can not get into the big events. This is good for some "name" fisherman who have made this work for them.
Walmart is still putting major money into fishing. We fish, we should thank them and buy what we can at Walmart fishing area so they keep doing that. What is wrong of Kelloggs or Land O Lakes or Folgers sponcering a fisherman? Do you get upset when Red Bull wraps a racing car? As long as the ads are there the fisherman can fish and we can enjoy it.
