Whose bat should the Giants pursue for next year?

Ranking 28th in runs, 29th in homers, and dead last in walks, OBP, and total pitches seen, it's clear that the Giants have only stayed in the race this season because they have the best pitching in baseball, and that they desperately need some power hitting in their lineup.

There should be some significant money available next year when several underachieving veterans' (no names will be named) contracts expire. Who would you like to see swinging the bats for the G-Men?

Update:

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Dan Uggla in orange and black.

Update 2:

I would *definitely* love to see Crawford in LF - then we would have no excuse for playing Fred Lewis. But I think that Schierholtz has the stuff to be a solid starter in RF. The man hit a triple in his first AB back off the DL and has a cannon for an arm.

Carl Crawford in left field. People say the rays are looking to trade him in the off-season. Can you imagine his speed at the Giants big pitchers ball park. It would also be good to see the Giants sign a Right fielder to replace Winn if Shierholtz does not turn out to be a player the Giants can rely on to be a starter and play RF everyday.

edit:Yeah Fred Lewis has been awful this year, I dont know why he was in left field most of the dodgers/giants series. He strikes out too much. Crawford can be a longterm guy in left field. Jermaine Dye would look good in a giants uniform but his price might be too high. Like you I have been saying it all along I would rather shierholtz start over any outfielder on the giants. He is a good contact hitter. Winn has been awful this year.

At this point I would love to see them get any help we can. Sanchez was a nice pickup but is not a power kind of guy. Garko...well, he hasn't done very much. The Giants desperately need a power bat. They haven't had one since Bonds. Uggla would be nice, but Adrian Gonzalez would be great.

The logical answer is Jason Bay. he's a brilliant ball participant and lives interior the section. Overbay is fascinating and could be a good one. in case you will desire to upload Holliday and Bay, i'd be very frightened of the Ms interior the west.

Joey Votto's contract is up next year and he is a rising star. He would help the Giants out a ton. Here are his stats this year

    Votto .317 average. 17 HR's (out for a while). 57 RBI's

    He's only 26
