I had dropped my ipod on the floor now the connection doesn't work like it use to?
I have the first gen ipod i got it on christmas the year it came out. Before i dropped it the connection use to work everywhere even outside(we have a wireless router). when i had dropped it the connection was very weak then it disappeared from the screen, now i have to be very close to my wireless router to pick up a connection..how can I fix it, can i go to a apple store to get a replacement even though i had it for awhile or reset everything?

Sure, you canget a replacement at an Apple store. If you PAY for it.
basically, it's broken and probably would cost too much to fix. You can see if the store will estimate the cost.
