Trigger his heart events and answer well when prompted. But remember, in this game when you get married the game ends!

Give him gifts. His love points won't raise for gifts more than once a day, so don't waste your items! His favorite items are apples, eggs, spa-poached eggs, and milk. Giving him a gift on his birthday (Summer 6th) gets you a lot of points!

Talk to him during the festivals which he attends, especially the romantic ones! The romantic festivals are:

- New Year's Day, Spring 1st at 10AM, at the square

- Goddess Festival, Spring 8th at 10AM, at the square. The bachelor with the highest affection will stop by on the 7th at noon to ask to escort you, so be sure to say yes!

- Fireworks Festival, Summer 24th at 6PM, at the beach

- Moon Viewing, Autumn 13th at 6PM, at the top of Mother's Hill. If you have a kitchen (no utensils needed), buy the moon dumpling kit from Jeff's Supermarket and bring the dumplings along.

- Winter Thanksgiving, Winter 14th all day, everywhere. This is a slightly different one. Just buy chocolate from Jeff's Supermarket (in advance, in case it's closed on the day of the festival) and give it to the guys you like.

- Star Night Festival, Winter 24th at 6PM, at your house. The day before, buy an invitation from Jeff's Supermarket and give it to Cliff. When it's time for him to arrive, be sure that you have some food in your rucksack! This is basically a dinner date.

Finally, since this is Cliff, be sure that in Autumn of your first year, when Duke talks to you about helping at the vineyard, that you go and talk to Cliff! If you don't, he'll move out of the village and never return!
