How do you get the "best answer" rating?
I am a US citizen, Colombian born. Colombian-wise I'm a mixture of many things. I did some DNA testing, with full autosomal, Y and Maternal lines, and admixture analysis.
I'm 80% European and 20% Native American. The European is mainly Portuguese, Spanish and Basque, by surname, but genetically I have significant affinity with Italy and Greece as well. Into that I have some admixture from Scandinavia and Ireland/Scotland, and some of the Moorish Berber from pre-1492 Spain. I was a bit surprised to find Ireland in there, but that could be because during the War of Independence from Spain in the 1820's there were some Irish/Scottish troops fighting on the Colombian side who came there after the wars against Napoleon were over. Maybe that's why I was invisibly drawn to learn to play the pipes.
The 20% Native American draws mainly from three groups - the Chibchan-speaking Muisca of Andean Colombia, Mayan and Central Andean (Inca).
My Y-Chromosome is R1b which is my father's Cro-Magnon paternal lineage from Spain. My Maternal Chromosome is B from the Mayan area, but otherwise my mother is almost entirely Basque and Spanish while my father is heavily Greco-Italian DNA-wise except for the Native American admixture and his R1b Spanish line.
So when I consider the Acropolis, the Roman Forum, the Alhambra, the Cathedral of Santiago, the windmills and castles of La Mancha, Iberian seafarers finding a route to the Indies, the ancient megaliths in Europe, Machu Picchu, the Mayan pyramids at Tikal, and the goldworking of ancient Colombians, I have an ancestral claim to all of those. And I have a thing for Nessie also. (S)he is really there. I'm telling you. Nessie is real.

I am Macedonian. Its a country in the Balkan Peninsula in Southeastern Europe. There aren't too many of us. People usually look at me funny when I say what I am. I can only mention Alexander the Great as a Macedonian people might recognize due to history and the movies.
Right now the Republic consists of about 2 million people.
I also have a little Croatian and Bohemian. But mainly Macedonian.
