Any seasoned poker players on here?

I started playing free spades poker last saturday and won the first time I played. It was so exciting. I was afraid it was a fluke and couldn't wait to play again to see if I have a knack. I've went 6 times and have placed 4 times and won 2nd place last night. I am 17 on the rankings to play in the 1000.00 tournament. The top 50 will be eligible. I am looking for any tips or advice from you guys who have been playing for a long time. Sometimes I feel like they know things that give them the edge. I will get a book later but am looking for any advice I can get for now. Thanks in advance.
