Who else has noticed how few people have gone on holiday this year?

No person in my neighbourhood has gone.

    I've noticed that too, people seem to be tightening the purse strings and with good reason.

    I usually rely on the people around me to go away which in effect gives me a holiday from them. Sounds selfish I know, but I do the house watching/key-holding and pet-sitting for them so it evens up. I've not as much as thrown a few pellets at a Koi carp so far this summer. People I think are being cautious and I'm glad to see it.

    i only know of one person that went on holidays this year..

    i cant even afford to window shop , things are that bad..
