What are good ideas for a memorial for a loved one?
It will be one year since my Mother passed on Sept. 11th. My sister, Father and I are trying to come up with ideas as to what to do. We spread her ashes on a small island here in the Florida Keys and on Mother's Day hung a memorial in her favorite tree on the island. Do you have any input?

The year that my ex's brother died (1994) everyone gathered with a candle and his one brother lit them for us and with the candles in our hands,we walked to the end of the road he lived on and we all lifted up our candles and touched each others candles and said a prayer then we walked back up the road to where he lived and blew out our candles and talked about the good times.It was a really neat memorial.
