laptop fan not working?
my laptop was getting hot so stupid me blew in the fan part and it stoped working then over heated and shut down. now the fan won't come on at all..does this mean i need a new fan. can someone help me please. thanks
thank you i took it apart and cleaned alot of hair out of it..i have a cat and a dog. it is working like new now..huh who woulda thought lol.

It can be due to accumulated dust inside them. If you have the penchant to open and clean it - do it.
Else pretty way gets a fan that plugs directly into one of the Power Supply leads. Bypass your mobo and see if that takes care of it.
Third option is to get a third party technician in order to check it out.
Relax my dear. Don’t over heat your head at least!!! :)
