Ok. i plan on getting a PS3 Slim. Do I need to get a router as well?
If so what type? Ok. The computer is in my basement towards the front of the house and the ps3 will be going in my room upstairs towards the back of the house in my room. Appx. less than 100 ft. I will only be using the pc (not going to be on at the same time when I use the ps3 slim) So will I need a router, if so what kind? I mean the only things that will be hooked up to it are the pc and Ps3 slim. Im a noob at this.

yes get a router and that will make it wifi and ur ps3 is already wifi u dont need to worry

The playstation three has an autmoatic internet thingy. All you need to do is connect an internet cable to the house and you're done.
