Sims 3 and a New Computer?!?

Today I got a new laptop, while I already had Sims 3. I am still installing a bunch of other stuff that I also need to get, and after that I am going to put Sims 3 on... If that works. But what I really need to know is if there is a way to get my saved file, a family gone in with a few generations and have everything they have on my new computer without messing anything up.

Thanks!

Yes, you should be able to either copy the saved folder from "My Games" which should be found in your "My Documents" folder or there may be a seperate saves folder found within the Sims 3 install folder of the other computer. Different games save in different ways but you can nearly always copy your data over.

You could take a flash drive and move your data but I know with old sim games your data would brake so fast
