They don't need a heater if that is the temperature of the water without one. A filter is always recommended, but not necessary if you do frequent partial water changes. But a filter can be found very cheap on Fish.com.

Your setup sounds fine though. Just don't add any other male betta or any fish that might try to bite his fins.

Most of the time a betta can be put with other fish without harming them with the exception of another male betta. I have my betta in with 3 zebra danios and a snail and he doesn't even seem to pay attention to them. Just keep him well fed!

A laser filter an not so much decorative stuff like plants an decor it bacterializes easily an make sure your fish are compatible an don't kill each other cause that can be really messy an try to get an allergy eater they are a big help

Well I have a betta fish and we hav a heater for them. Do NOT put them with other fish the betta will kill them, even a sucker fish, so keep them buy there self. They eat just the same fish food as the rest do.

you dont need a heater. if you want you can just put a little over him/her when the temp. is cold. Filters make it easier because you barley ever have to clean the tank but some are loud and keep you up all night which is annoying. But i think you should get the filter just try to find out if its quiet

yeh they do need a heater because they are tropical fish but if filter is not there still its fine but buying a filter is advisable your current set up is good hope you do have a oxygen pump also you didnt mentioned that so ..........
