I think I have a UTI, do I call my general physician or my gynecologist to confirm?

you can pee in a cup for your general physician and they will be able to tell you, but your gynecologist would do the same thing for you so it just depends on who you want to see.

Either one can tell you and prescribe antibiotics for you. The infection is determined by a urinalysis so no pap is needed!

yes, call them and set up an appointment, you will notice slight burning down there when you urinate, it will always feel like you have to urinate, they are very uncomfortable i know..drink lots of cranberry juice (not cocktail) lots of water, NO drinks containing sugar.... and you should feel better before you know it!

    good luck!

call your gyno just to make sure.. you will probly have to make an appointment, but it will be worth it
