The EPA lists the two main causes of rising green house gases as burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. And guess what smarty pants.. slash and burn farming in the rain forest is done mainly to produce VEG!

According to the EPA livestock enteric fermentation (farts) is tied with paddy rice farming as a green house gas producer.

I am all for cleaning up the environment. But do so with half a brain and dont expect people to believe such nonsense filled lies.

Livestock production may not be the biggest producer of greenhouse gases but it is near the top, Above all types of transportation combined. Also it is one of the top 2 or 3 most environmentally destructive human activities. As far as the slash and burn farming. They raise animal feed there. It takes 10 pounds of grain to produce one pound of meat. That other 9 pounds and the resources used to grow it are just wasted. The government won't do anything about it because it's big business.

and to most of those country's it's there only major source of income.

and contrary to what you might have been lead to believe

people aren't just standing by and doing nothing when it comes to this issue. there are tons of research and programs that have been initiated when it comes to this problem.

and unless you want to see a broader range of famine.

than gradually readjusting the economy of those country's most dependent is the only way.

the only other option is for a major war to break out to settle things fast.

and so if you believe that might help more, than by all means vote for the next bill on war that comes out.and let the guns take care of it.
