Story idea- I need a idea for a story!!?

One of the best parts of writing is coming up with an idea that is yours and yours alone.

Why don't pick up a pen and just write whatever comes into your head?

I agree with two other answers to find some inspiration and write about what you like or look in magazines/papers for inspiration. The first stories people often write are about something that has happened to them or someone they know. You could write about a current issue, the credit crunch, and how a family start to lose their wealth through job loss and investments. It could be emotional and dramatic with perhaps the perspective taken from a teenage persons view point.

Forget the story ideas...what do you like to read? Write that genre. Start with characters, not plot, and see what happens. Let your characters tell your story. Put them in tension filled situations and see how they get themselves out of it. Taking someone else’s ideas and trying to make them your own won't work for you.

a Tarzan film where the lead role is played by a retard who pulls animals tails for fun? Imagine Steve Irwin who was famous for poking sticks at dangerous animals - well this Tarzan character stands on giraffes backs and pushes his fingers into hippos nostrils - that kind of stuff - does all his own stunts. Real edge of the seat stuff - could even donate some of the profit to the spastic shops

Well what about a guy who's family die's, best freind dies and he falls into darkness. After that he is a 'evil' person. The he makes a recovery after all the bad things he does when he is evil.

i like writing twisted stories.

A girl sneaked out to see her BF and on her way home alone, she witnesses a murder. She runs home to hide but the murderer follows her...She locks the front door and he starts banging on it loudly. She hears her parents getting up. She doesn't know what to do! If she hides so they don't know she snuck out, they'll open the door and let the murder in! If she trys to stop them, they might not listen to her anyways!
