Mazda 6 2008 5,000 Miles?

I'm shopping around for a car and I found a nice MAZDA 6 dark gray with 5000 miles, leather interior, looks pretty nice... for $10,800. The dealer guy told me that he bought it at the auctions....

So please any advise on this car?

Thanks

    CAR FAX

    CAR FAX

CAR FAX..... I bought 2008 Mazda 6i back in February of this year. I paid around 13.5K... Here are some ways to get an idea of the true cost of a 2008 Mazda 6 with 5k miles:

    www.edmunds.com

    www.kkb.com

www.autotrader.com......do a customized search for the make, model, year and mileage.. check out the ads for private seller and dealers. compare the two and see if you see any cars for $10,800.

The car that you are looking at, does it have a clear title? Is it a flood car? you have to ask these questions, but then again, show me the CAR FAX.....

GOOD LUCK, the Mazda 6 is really a great and fun car to drive.

No! don't do it. That is way to cheap for a 2008 Mazda 6 with low mileage. There has to be something wrong with it.

I just bought a 2008 dark gray Mazda 6 without leather interior for 15,000 and i didn't get ripped off nowhere else had one as nice for a better price. Mine only had 16,060 miles on it. I would pass it up and look some more and you'll see what I mean. Also, carfax is not 100% guaranteed. My car was in a minor rear end collision which was not reported. However, carfax is still a good precaution to make sure it hadn't been in any major ones.

I'm going to agree with most everyone else on here and recommend that you get a used car to start out with, just to make sure that you've got driving down, get through high school with it, and then look to upgrade when you go to college. As for the cars, my second car was a '96 Mazda Protege. It was a great car and the only trouble I had with it was that the exhaust rusted out about every year (Detroit area roads are over-salted), and I had to install three sunroofs, which were aftermarket. I test drove the Mazda 3 when I was looking for a new car and it was great, if you're looking for a car to compare with the Scion TC (which is what I bought) this will be a tough choice for you, I recommend test driving both before you choose, since the Mazda 6 is a slightly larger version of the 3. As for transmission, here's why you should get the used car first, if you can't drive a stick shift, learn on the used car to save wear and tear on your new one. Driving with a stick shift is much more rewarding in the long run than with an automatic...if you're not shifting, you're only steering, not driving. I'll also recommend that you test drive other cars in the classes as well, and see which one you like the best. Before I bought my Scion, I test drove Hyundai's, the Ford Focus, The Chevy Cobalt, Saturn Astra, Honda Civic, and Volkswagen Jetta. So shop around before you choose, it's decision that you're going to ave to live with for a while and make sure that you make the right one.

WOW, they seems way to cheap for a car with 5000 miles and its 2008. There must be something wrong that he's not telling you.

very good car, sounds cheap for that year and low mileage, but if it passes a carfax inspection and you have a mazda technician look at it ,you can`t go wrong
