What are good colleges/universities for becoming a teacher?
I am a junior this year, and I am taking a class called Exploring Teaching in school. I really enjoy it, and very much want to be a teacher. Because of my year in school, I am looking at colleges, and I was wondering which were the best, in your opinion, to go to in order to learn to be a teacher. I want to be a science (mainly Chemistry) teacher at the high school level.

Okay things to consider- Do I want to go to a prestigious school? If so then you need to go to a good name school but honestly teaching's on the low end of the pole so it really doesn't matter. Dont' waste all your money. I have a friend who finally got licensed and she spent thoussannnnnddddssss at this big named university and I just laughed b/c my roommate that got certified at a little university is teaching the same place and she paid wayyyyyy less. It's TEACHING so just make sure I don't know the classes are good but this is not a big deal b/c it's teaching (well I guess I shouldn't say that b/c if you need help with like stage fright, speaking skills, and other stuff of communication then you'll need good tips so that will mean good schooling.)
