how can i become an ultrasound tech.?
ok. i live in missouri. and i already have my associates of arts in general studies. so i was just wondering how can i go from there to become an ultrasound technician and how long will that take me to get? (how long is it approximately going to take me)

Since you already have your two-year degree, look for a college with Radiology department.
The one near me (in CA) Radiology takes a year.
Take a test to get your license.
Then you go on to the Ultra Sound Tech (Sonographer) for another one or two years (depending on how many units you take at one time).
Take a test to get your license.
The last Ultra Sound Tech I went to was very overworked (someone called in sick) that day. But she loved her job, liked seeing different people every hour, liked the air conditioning and liked that she moved around a bit and sat some of the time.

You need to go into radiology to become an ultrasound tech.
