garmin nuvi 350 can't see the satellites?
it just searches but cannot see the sats. I've tried the reboot to no avail. I've also waited on hold for cust service for over 1/2 hour and had to hang up. Any ideas?
I did the hard reset.

The first time you use a GPS in a new location, it can take quite a while to find satellites. Go outside to an unobstructed spots (away from trees or tall buildings) and leave it on for 30 minutes (without moving it).
After the first time things should go faster as the GPS will remember locations of satellites, unless you take it to a new spot far away, or don't use it for a long time. Then you have to start over as above.
If you want to see more details, press on the strength signal symbol (at the top left of the main screen) and hold it for 5-10 seconds. You should see a blank screen, then satellites appear one at a time. You need at least 3 for it to work. Be patient :)
