I have a question for you Guys reguarding flowmasters?

I have a STOCK '96 mustang gt, with true duels.

I plan on putting flowmasters on today. How will the flowmasters affect the gas mileage and power of my car? Will it affect anything else. Please give me all the info you can.

I went on youtube and saw a couple clips. I LOVE the deep rumble they have to them! I can't wait.

    What you will get is more exaughst noise, but in the mustangs, it always sounds amazing. I have Flowmasters on my 91 GT... If anything it will improve gas millage alittle bit. More flow is more efficient. Its nothing but a + I promise.

    You Will Gain A Little More Power Over Stock Mufflers And This Translates To A Little More Fuel Savings Over Stock. I Have Ran Flow masters On Every Single One Of My Vehicles... I Would Not Run Anything Else.

    not much gain...truth is mufflers are part of a system,,,,performance chip,,,bigger injectors,,,free flow exhaust system...work together to give power....you could gain 5 hp [mufflers] to 20hp [at high rpm with headers and crossover X pipe]....mileage??? you will floor it more and lose any mpg u could gain [which is little if any],,,happy motoring to ya]
