But if it is that is one GIGANTIC centipeed, Its yellow, maybe some black in it, it has like inch long antennas, and its really fast and crawls everywhere! It is a house centipede!

They DO get really BIG. I don't know for sure, but I have been told that they will bite.

They are (if I'm not mistaken) predatory insects that cruise around and hunt down other stuff. We had them in an apartment once.....I measured one, and it was 5" long.....totally gave me the willies.

They move very fast too. So spray it with raid or whack it with something and try and do some cleaning up and caulking of holes and cracks down there.

Your dad's rashes won't be in basic terms due ot the bugs, except he handles the bugs... that's extra like simply by a minimum of something like mould. Insect are oftentimes attracted to moisture, so the two the basement has some pipes that drip or the commencing place is cracked and enables moisture in. If that's an open floor basement (dirt floor/stone partitions) and not your generally poured concrete or concrete block, then you definately will actual p.c. an exterminator. whether that's block or all concrete, then sparkling the basement thoroughly, surprisingly any furniture or storage that the bugs might desire to have made homestead. then you definately might desire to enforce a scientific care. Exterminators make it undemanding yet are costly. you are able to circulate to homestead depot and get sprays that paintings properly. in basic terms make confident they're non-deadly whilst they dry (that's significant if human beings and or pets will circulate in there sooner or later). that's significant which you detect openning in commencing place and seal them and additionally get rid of furniture, packing boxes, submitting cabinets that could harbor the bugs. listed under are 2 links which will possibly help..good success!

it could be a breed of mixed centipeed and roach/waterbug. Try to stay away from it because it could be poisonous; better safe then sorry. If you do see it again try to get Raid spray and it will kill it instantly

    hope this helps!

    It's probably a beetle...

They can get HUGE, like the size of Hot Wheels cars.
