I enjoy the seasons the most. We have such beautiful Springs and Autumns, Summer is not to long and not to short, and the Winters are not so bad. Cleveland's seasons are lovely.

My favorite thing to do in Cleveland is to park and walk around downtown. I love walking E 9th Street from Progressive field to the pier. Or, walking Euclid Avenue from Cleveland State to the top of the Flats.

My favorite Cleveland landmark: The FREE Stamp!

    1) Cleveland has great parks, not only on the lake, but county, state, and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Hiking, biking, and cross country skiing opportunities are within a short drive of everywhere, and this isn't true in all U.S. urban areas.

    2) Lake Erie is spectacular, especially on a sunny day in the winter. Go beaching in the winter if you've never done it, especially after the lake has frozen and shore ice is piled high, hopefully by February.

    3) East 4th Street is my favorite recent addition, especially during the months when it's closed to traffic.

    4) I really appreciate the fact that the Cleveland Art Museum doesn't charge admission. If you have a couple hours to kill, you can park at a meter and go into the museum and fascinate yourself.

    5) Severance Hall is beautiful during the holiday season and a great place to take kids for a Christmas Concert without them noticing too much they're listening to and watching a great orchestra.

    6) Sugar bushes such as the one in Burton. Having maple stir once a year reminds me that I'm still at home.

    7) Holden Arboretum is a hiker's paradise. While many cities have good zoos, very few have anything that approaches Holden in its scale and beauty.

What I miss most: the downtown department stores, especially during the holiday season with all of the animated window displays and the Stirling Linder Christmas Tree. Imagine standing on a balcony above a four-story Christmas tree inside a department store atrium.

Malls seem so very sterile by comparison.

Also we badly miss the Top of the Town Restaurant and especially IMO the bar on the 38th floor of Erieview Tower. It was memorable to be almost eye level with a blimp floating over the stadium. Today, my guess is that most younger Clevelanders are barely aware of Erieview.

    This was the approximate view:

    Great question!

I love the cultural diversity. Cleveland, for all its problems has some of the best variety of restaurants because of these cultural differences. You can literally eat two distinctly different restaurants every week and go a year before you hit reruns. Just name the nationality and i can safely say you can find a restaurant for it.

I also love the Metropark and cuyahoga valley recreational areas for hiking and site seeing. They are very well kept.

Bridges: There are more bridges of various types in and around Cleveland than in any other city in Ohio.

Museums: We have some of the best museums in the Country. The Art, Natural History, Crawford (auto and air) Health and NASA (off brookpark rd) are amazing places to explore and i generally go each of them about 4 times a year.

Just being in Downtown Cleveland, like in the plaza with the fountain and everything. It's just so calming down there, not typical of Cleveland :)

    Oh and Tower City shopping!

I love the Metro Parks. They are the absolute jewel of Cuyahoga County and Cleveland. The bike trails, or just driving through the park in the fall especially. Nothing and no where more beautiful.

You could go to an Indian's game, the city's baseball team. Or, you could go to one of the beaches down by Lake Erie. There are some really great beaches in Lakewood.

The skyline at night, the fact that we have hardly any traffic compared to other big cities, museums and downtown in general.

The lake front harbor by the stadium and hall of fame. When I was younger I use to go down there a lot and sit by the water. And my favorite bbq joint.
