The BULLDOGS chances 2009?
I just love the way the DOGS are going quietly about their business this year. A tough no frills team doing a good job.
How do you guys asess their chances for another GF win?
Maybe we can go to Melbourne and play Collingwood - interesting game (lol)
Thanks people, its my experience that GF time is for tough, gritty no frills games and that sounds like the DOGS this year.

I personally think they are a shoe in for the GF, the performance and stamina of the team this year is one to rival previous. Ive been a doggies supporter all my life and without bias and just judging on performance and play and the hunger they are displaying this year I think that they will acutally win the GF. With players like Noddy, ennis bobcat, ElMazri and goodwin, constant performers, and the other players who have started lifting their game over the last 10 rounds. Lets not forget El Mazri is retiring this year so the want is even more profound, the worlds highest points scorer going out on a GF win....Im usually not a gambler but i am so confident that i dropped a $hitload on them to win.....but we will see.
Personally i dont think collingwood will make it to the top 8 ....in RL that is haha :D

The Bulldogs will be there at Grand Final time & I have a feeling that the Melbourne Storm will be there to play them!.Melbourne are a slumbering giant who will show this week against Manly just how revved up they are, a big score against Manly.I don't follow either side I am a South Sydney supporter who has been so impressed by the Bulldogs this year that I can't see them being beaten in the GF, I do think Melbourne will be there with them.

I think the fact that they are a tough no frills team will be their downfall, come major semi final time they will face a streaking team who will have to much on attack for the dogs to match.
If Dogs are to make the GF or win it they will need to find another gear, possible not probable.

The Bulldogs have been superb, professional and efficient and while they have not blown teams away they have constantly produced what is needed to win, they only lost in a close match against St george and Manly, St George came with it's controversy and Manly was a rare underperformance. They have shown that in a tight match almost all of the time they will emerge victorious and that is what finals football is all about, they have a very good chance at winning the premiership this year.

They have a good chance along with 3 other teams. With the dragons loss last night, there are no real outstanding teams.

They deserve to be there, whether or not they win depends who they face.
Honestly though, I don't think they will get there, I'm not so sure my Dragons will either at the moment. It's easy to have an upset during the finals.
