Long term storage on Jack Stands?
I am in the U.S. Army and getting ready to deploy back to Iraq. We are having a little argument at work on how to store our POVs before we deploy. 1) Place the vehicle on jack stands under the axles or 2) Place the vehicle on jack stands under the frame. It all revolves around the suspension. Which way provides more wear and tear on the shocks?

Under axles/control arms (as the case may be) is best. Not so much for springs, but bushings. Shocks won't wear either way.
And thank you for your service. Take care.

Jack stands under the axles. Don't want to let the suspension hang.
