At first it might seem that if God created all things, then evil must have been created by God. However, evil is not a “thing” like a rock or electricity. You cannot have a jar of evil. Evil has no existence of its own; it is really the absence of good. For example, holes are real but they only exist in something else. We call the absence of dirt a hole, but it cannot be separated from the dirt. So when God created, it is true that all He created was good. One of the good things God made was creatures who had the freedom to choose good. In order to have a real choice, God had to allow there to be something besides good to choose. So, God allowed these free angels and humans to choose good or reject good (evil). When a bad relationship exists between two good things we call that evil, but it does not become a “thing” that required God to create it.

Perhaps a further illustration will help. If a person is asked, “Does cold exist?” the answer would likely be “yes.” However, this is incorrect. Cold does not exist. Cold is the absence of heat. Similarly, darkness does not exist; it is the absence of light. Evil is the absence of good, or better, evil is the absence of God. God did not have to create evil, but rather only allow for the absence of good.

God did not create evil, but He does allow evil. If God had not allowed for the possibility of evil, both mankind and angels would be serving God out of obligation, not choice. He did not want “robots” that simply did what He wanted them to do because of their “programming.” God allowed for the possibility of evil so that we could genuinely have a free will and choose whether or not we wanted to serve Him.

As finite human beings, we can never fully understand an infinite God (Romans 11:33-34). Sometimes we think we understand why God is doing something, only to find out later that it was for a different purpose than we originally thought. God looks at things from a holy, eternal perspective. We look at things from a sinful, earthly, and temporal perspective. Why did God put man on earth knowing that Adam and Eve would sin and therefore bring evil, death, and suffering on all mankind? Why didn’t He just create us all and leave us in heaven where we would be perfect and without suffering? These questions cannot be adequately answered this side of eternity. What we can know is whatever God does is holy and perfect and ultimately will glorify Him. God allowed for the possibility of evil in order to give us a true choice in regards to whether we worship Him. God did not create evil, but He allowed it. If He had not allowed evil, we would be worshipping Him out of obligation, not by a choice of our own will.

I believe god created all except our mind (it may be a gift from him!). We know evil thoughts are in everyone's mind. We cant point at an evil thing in this world. But we can feel it in our mind as the opposite of god. So if god is light, evil is darkness. Same as knowledge and ignorance. Knowledge is the kindle of goodness and Ignorance is the birth place of Evil.

no because evil is not s physical creation

men created evil by rejecting God

evil is the absence of God in a person's life just as darkness is the absence of light.

evil is doing the opposite of what God says is good and holy.

my friend evil are the vices like ego , greed ,anger etc. which are created in a person's heart and live their . these are in less intensity(somewhat controlled) and in more in others . these creator havoc and destroy a person's life when a person gets away from god

(i know god is everywhere but we can get away from god by not accepting him and remembering him(we remember only those whom we love and we have a relation with those whom we remember the most . blood relation's are not true relations . this is why we see brothers fighting over money and even killing each other)

eg u may note all the emperors who created a hell on earth and destroyed life didn't accept god and considered themselves everything and wasted their life's eg hitler.

if u may note their are various names of god which describe his good qualities and this also true that as a person gets closer to god good qualities are created in him . i said wasted above as we can reach our home which is god and be free from the cycle of life and death by reciting God's name eg."waheguru" or "allah " or "ram" which ever u may like as all are names of god although i would insist on reciting "waheguru" u can try stating so and soon u will have peace of mind .(although it takes a lot of time to connect to god which depends on how much recitation has been done in the previous life. by recitation our bad deeds are erased and we come closer to god)

If god created everything, he also created evil. (but the scientists and evolutionists would disagree about creation)

but god felt that he could keep the evil in check, and ultimately make it good

but he had not thought that humans will like evil more than good, and the time has come when the balance is tilting dangerously towards evil.

God had created mankind in the hope that they would help him contain evil, but he never bargained that they would support evil, in majority.

When the Bible says that God is the creator of all things, obviously God Himself is exempt from being His own creation, because God is an uncreated being. And since God is love, then love is also an uncreated thing. God didn't create love. God IS love. God is uncreated, therefore love is uncreated. Love is also exempt from being God's creation. Since love is patient and love is kind, then patience and kindness are also uncreated things. Patience and kindness are also exempt from being God's creation. What is impatience? It's merely a lack of patience. What is unkindness? It's merely a lack of kindness. If patience is an uncreated thing, then why would the lack of patience be considered a created thing? If kindness is an uncreated thing, then why would the lack of kindness be considered a created thing? That's not a created thing. That's merely a lack of an uncreated thing. If love is uncreated, then how much more uncreated is the absence of it?

When the Bible says that God is the creator of all things, it's only talking about created things. It's not talking about uncreated things. Of course God didn't create things that haven't been created. If God didn't create uncreated things, then how much more so did He not create the absence of uncreated things?

God gave free will to his subjects. For he wanted things to be "good" and for love to prosper. But without the possibilty of evil, good cannot exist. And since was never intended for God's subjects, it snowballs, stains and messes up everything. But some of God's subjects sought to go against their faith. Now God could not allow sin to continue, but freedom needed to exist. So God scaraficed a part of Himself, proved sin was conquerable, and conquered it. All those with sin have been invited to to join in this Conquest, casting aside their sin. But since evil snowballs and corurpts, it must ultimately be destroyed. But not after people have made their choices

Yes, God created evil and good. He wants us to testify ourselves by hating evil and accepting good. He created evil in order to find how many of us truly live according to his will. Unless you pass and examination, you can not attain a degree.. same way God has given us both options. It depends on us what we choose.
