Say no. Let her throw a fit. If your male is the dad you should get half the money of half of the babies. Don't be pressured in to doing anything you don't want to.

You poor thing! I think the best thing to do would be to tell your friend that you wont be hanging out with her until she starts acting like the friend you need and deserve. Its obvious that she has no respect for you and is using you. Don't allow her to take/breed your dragon. If you have to step on eggshells to keep your friendship, it isn't a friendship, it's prison.

If you really want to keep your friendship, this is what I suggest. Tell her that if she wants to breed your dragon, it goes 50-50. You split the money, get to help with the babies and your dragon makes visits to hers once a day or so until they've breed and the female is gavid. (I may have spelled that wrong...) Meaning she has eggs and no longer needs the male. If you were to just leave them together, the male could become to "forceful" and hurt or kill the female. Lastly, read a book together about breeding dragons before you start, don't go into it on the fly. Dragon eggs take a lot of work.

    Hope this helps!

If you're friend can't be understanding about you not wanting to do what she's asked, then I personally wouldn't think she'd be mature enough to breed and raise baby beardies.

Your bearded dragon is YOURS, therefore you are perfectly within your rights to refuse. You can't guarantee the care of your pet when you're not there, so handing him over is not a good idea.

Does your friend realise that the eggs have to be incubated in order to hatch? Would she be able to do this?

I wouldn't worry about her "throwing a fit", she'll calm down eventually. But you have to think of it from another angle: if you handed over your pet and it either died or you didn't get it back, then you would end up falling out with your friend anyway, and more permanently.

Whatever you do, do NOT use wax worms. They have a very poor calcium to phosphorus ratio (more phosphorus than calcium), which can contribute to metabolic bone disease. This isn't very likely to happen to your beardie, as she's older, but if she isn't full-grown, it can happen. Silkworms are excellent, and you can always feed her giant meal worms (you may need to cut off their heads to prevent impaction if she's REALLY undersized), but you should also dust everything with calcium powder (RepCal's is excellent, and make sure it contains vitamin D3). You should also use RepCal's Herptivite (a multivitamin). UVA lighting is also critical, as it stimulates appetite, and you should have a full-spectrum UVA/UVB setup anyway. There really isn't a way to tame her without stressing her out. You basically just have to grab her (gently but firmly) around her midsection, so she can't bite you, and pet her tail every day for about a month. She may never LIKE being petted, but at least she shouldn't be aggressive towards you after that.

You can say no, it is YOUR bearded dragon, tell her you don't feel comfortable with it and ask her if she would do this with her bearded dragon! Breeding is very dangerous! And if you do use Spike to breed, you deserve at least HALF of the money and a baby AND spike back! She just wants to keep the money. Hope i helped

Tell her only if I make you make the deal so you will feel more comfortable then letting her decide.Like don't do anything to hurt her but say know if you really don't want it to happen.
