If I were in your shoes I'd sell it locally (an ad in the local newspaper, well probably your newspaper is online these days), here in America we have flyer type booklets that reach the homes and apartments that have ads in them (but there again it's online too). There are stores that sell items to the disabled and to hospitals and such (like wheelchairs, potties, bandages, etc.) and maybe they will take a second hand wheelchair. I don't know who will pay what but I'm thinking not to expect much money from the sale of the wheelchair. Here we'd probably give it to Salvation Army or Goodwill and then take it as a donation on paying our taxes in April to get a few dollars back. You might also check with a military hospital as they could use one. but you know what? sometimes when we give we get (it's called karma). Here we have AARP (the senior citizens organization) and contacting them might help you know who needs a wheelchair. Also there are senior citizen local magazines (call your library and ask the name of the one in your area). You certainly wouldn't want to put ads up to sell your chair if you don't have a new one to sit in. So the new one comes first. Contact organizations that can help you buy the better one like maybe Goodwill or Salvation Army.
