    Happy Birthday!

If I were you I would reserve a room right away if you haven't done so already. This is high season for them now and that's why it can be a lot more expensive to be there this time of year than other parts of the year especially more than winter. The canadian side is good but one thing I gotta warn you about if you don't know this already, is you will find it tempting to blow money there because they have casinos there. Last time I checked the Marriott and Renaissance hotel there had some good rooms with jacuzzis and such, but as I said this time of year's more expensive and those better rooms cost more and the less rooms that are available the more expensive the rooms are, so if you haven't booked a room yet, I would get on the wagon and do it right away! Also the Canadian side is good for one because in some hotels on that side, there's some rooms with views of both the Canadian and the American falls.

I've been there so many times and I must say, each trip was definitely worth it. I'm not sure how it's like on the US side but viewing from the Canadian side is much more intense as you'll get a better view of the Canadian HorseShoe falls. Maid of the Mist gets you right into the falls, however you will get wet, VERY WET. I especially liked the nightlife. All in all, it was a great experience that I will definitely do again.

    P.S: Birthday? Nice! When?

I used to go there every summer when I was young & I loved it. I wish I could go back and visit again. The falls are exquisite either seen from land, or on one of the boats, but best of all is the walking tour behind the falls themselves - in the caves. Do that if you get the chance & also check out the wax museums & shops in town as well.

You are going to have a blast, so buy yourself some trinkets too!

If you have never been it will be a fun experience but it is one of the most OVERRATED attractions in the USA imo....

After you've seen the falls in real life they really aren't as impressive as pictures make them out to be.

You'll have fun but once was enough for me, I have no ambition to do it over again but it was a good experience. You'll enjoy The Maid of the Mist ride though.

    Happy Birthday.

you mean Point Ross Falls, we officially changed the name.

all in all it's a pretty nice place, i stayed on the canadian side. the hilton we stayed at had a waterfall in the pool, so there was no need to see the real thing lol jk.

the town has a lot of fun stores and nice restaurants, the falls are awesome and oh so powerful. I enjoyed my experience

i love Niagara Falls ! one of my fave places.

my fam and i usually stay at clifton hill at the comfort inn. it's cheap, right near the falls and it's in the heart of the tourist area.

they're are really great packages too that you should check out.

hope this helps; happy birthday and have fun !
