Cold sensation in my right leg off and on for a few days....please read more?

I was driving my car the other day & it felt like something really cold dripped onto my right leg a few inches under my knee on the inside of my leg. (Not on the shin, but on the side of my leg) I thought maybe it was something from the air conditioner or something, but there was no wet spot, so I ignored it. About 1/2 hour later it happened again and several times that day. It's happened about 3 times today too. I can't figure out what it could be? And NO, I'm not on any drugs or medication or anything. It doesn't really hurt, so I haven't gone to the doctor, but I'm really curious if anyone knows what it could be?? Thanks for any info!!

Update:

Actually feels like my leg is wet. Very annoying, but not really painful. Seems to be a nerve thing??

Could be one of two things. Blood circulation problem caused by either clot or some other interference or it could be that a nerve in your lower spinal region is being tweaked/pinched/compressed. You need to see a doctor kiddo. You don't want to screw with your circulation or nervous system like that.

My leg from my knee to my hip gets cold it feels like I was out side in the cold and when it does this it is hard to get it to warm up it is even cold to the touch. It started a long time ago and since I have had my hip replaced but it did not stop this sensation from happening. I thought it would go away after my surgery but it didn't?

Yes, you're correct. I has to do with your Nerves, but also with your Skin; but know it's normal and not dangerous.

Most of the times happens when we're under stress and/or anxiety, and they trigger when the mind is busy while doing something else. So it takes us by surprise, and some people experienced it as if drooling without doing so but they wipe because the feel is so authentic. Also other people experience warm and hot feelings, and at times experiencing cold and warm at different given times.

Now, it happens often during the Hot Weather, and one good thing to do is seeing a dermatologist and use of good sun-blockers. If that doesn't cure the problem withing three months, you should see a medical professional to take care your nerves. And this doesn't mean that your nerves are shot, no. What it means is that our nerves most of the time have Late Reactions while doing something else, or while sleeping for example.

When it comes to a medical question,, I usually Always advise to see a doctor just in case, they are the experts .. not us..

but, I would say it is a nerve, or stress problem .. have you ever had a

accident on the leg somewhere to set it off, or are you under any kind of stress..

Our bodies talk in many different ways.. that is why I say check w/ a physician..

It may be harmless, but why take a chance w/ your life.. U are worth it to find out.. !!! I hope the condition goes away quickly for you..

    Have a grreat day..

........................I get that sometimes..... I jump out of the seat cause I think I am sitting in cold water..... and various other sensations as well as extreme pain but just for a few seconds..... I had a complete MRI which showed 4 herniated discs in my back and in the past had a severe knee injury in a MC accident...... well I have been to several doctors and Neuro surgeons the culprit was not my back but a condition called Neuropathy.......google it...... it is a condition of the nerves...... I cant diagnose you of course....... just another thing to look at

    Hey,

It is a fact that no one condition reflects sciatica and it would be prudent to refer to it as a generic medical term encompassing lots of symptoms that taken together describe a lower back pain that a patient suffers from. When someone complains of severe back pain that passes down to legs through his buttocks, even down to his feet and toes, doctors suspect him to be suffering from sciatica. Often sciatica presents itself as numbness or a tingling sensation that may not be anything like the severe pain commonly associated with sciatica. This tingling or numbness may be felt by the person when he engages in some activities.

In the last 2 months, this has started with me. I DO have lumbar problems and mental health disorders. My primary doc took me off of Diazepam (vallium). It has made it worse. So, for me, I think I have 2 conditions going on at the same time. However, I am trying to keep my doc informed of everything that is going on. I HATE the sensation, though!!!

Sounds like a nerve..When it has happened to me it feels like a hot sensation though...as long as your lower extremity is warm and pink and has a good pulse its okay..but if it continues go see your doc to make sure
