I am trying to download microsoft office and when I put the cd in nothing happens...WHY?

I think you mean that you are trying to install, not download... anyway...

Are you putting a dvd in a cd reader? If nothing happens just go to my computer, and explore your cd rom and double click the setup.exe file.

If you can not browse the cd/dvd in my computer, then something is wrong with the dvd or dvd reader.

If you downloaded a copy of microsoft office 2003 and it does not work then download it full, free and NO virus and 100% working from:

Your DVD drive is set to do nothing. Just open Computer, look for the DVD drive, double click on it, and if the installation doesn't start running, look for the Setup program and double click on that.
