I really like the tv show the Big Bang Theory and i was wondering?

if Jim Parson's got an emmy nomination why didn't the whole show get one it's the funniest show on tv today and it only works because the whole cast makes it so special don't get me wrong Sheldon (jim parsons) character steals every scene but they are all great any other fans out there? Thoughts?

Yea your right- its hilarious! My husband and I watch it every week. I didn't know about the nomination but its true, its the whole cast that makes it a great show, with the different personality's interacting :)

Really he got a emmy nod? That honestly makes perfect sense to me. There is no doubt in my mind that Sheldon is the most difficult and complex character to portray on the show. He does indeed steal every scene, and without him this show would not be nearly as great as it is.

I believe that Leonard is much easier to portray. I think if it came down to it, many other people could of made this character possible as well.

Raj: Stereotypical indian nerd, He is perfect for the role, but he could be easily of been cast with another Indian who talks funny, who would make an easy transition to the character.

Howard: I will agree about Howard. I think if another emmy nom, were to go out, it should be to him.

Penny: Kaley cuoco is great, but honestly how many other sexy blondes could they have cast in her place? limitless.

All in all Sheldon is the most difficult character to portray and Jim Parsons does it masterfully. This role was made for him, I truly believe he is irreplacable,

Remember the scene in that episode when Penny gave Sheldon the leonard Nimoy signed napkin? I have not seen that much raw emotion expressed by anyone on a sitcom in a very long time. Jim parsons gave the most surreal expressions, mannerism and reaction that i have ever seen in the history of any chuck lorre televison produced sitcom, and other sitcom's alike. Truly an exceptional actor.

I wish i could remember the name of the episode in case you haven't seen it. If someone could help me out that would be great.

So in conclusion, I do strongly agree with the emmy nom. It really make perfect sense to me. If only one person gets the nomination for the show, it cannot be anyone else besides him. I'm not even sure they give an entire cast nominations or if that's possible. If so i'm sure they don't do it often.
