Cartilage Piercing?

I got my cartilage pierced a week ago and I'm new this so I was wondering if it's normal that it still hurts. It's definitely not infected.

yes its definatley going to hurt. i have my cartilage done twice, once with a gun and the other i did it by myself. if u got it done with a gun it will generally hurt for a week to a month after you pierce it. but if you did it with a needle you should feel less pain because needles cause less damage then guns. all in all everything is normall and you'll be fine. just make sure to clean with warm salt water, not alcohol. it will hurt more with alcohol, trust me

Yeah, it can hurt for a while. Mine stopped after about a week and a half, unless I touched it/leaned on it.
