Sounds sketchy. I would try to get a weed wacker to take down the tall weeds. Maybe you could pick some spots to put down straw to soak up the mud in places and give the horses a dry spot to stand. Above all, make sure there is a place where the horses have access to clean water. Inspect the shelter and make sure there are no nails sticking out. Perhaps you can cover some of the barbed wire up with tape or slitted pool noodles. Sometimes you can tuck the barbed wire on the other side of the fence. I would also see about selling some of the horses to ease the strain on the pasture.

People generally dislike stalkers and being a stalker can be a dangerous way to live. People carry weapons and if someone was stalking me or a family member, they wouldn't have to stalk me because I'd find them.
