Question

I once heard of a really popular Anime where there was this couple, but the girl dies. The boy falls in love with someone else, but the girl that died comes back to life, but is still kinda dead or something??

There's like a constant argument between people who want the dead girl to be with him, and people who want the new love to be with him.

Does anyone know what this is called??

Seems a little like Inuyasha but it can't be, Inuyasha is so repetitive that it's unforgettable. It's most likely a different anime.
