It used to be illegal to interfere with a tv signal with a CB?

We have been having problems with our digi boxes. 3 of them. we have checked out the ariel and its ok, but we think someone is using some form of equipment that is disturbing our signals, it knocks out the analogue on normal tv as well, the satelite works ok. is it still an offence to cause this problem and if so who do we contact

It is not easy to enforce the laws governing interference from cb or any other source.

You can get a booklet from the post office with a complaint form you have to pay to have your complaint investigated.

You can purchase cb interference filters that plug in the aerial cable this could be a cheaper and more effective approach to your problem.

Contact OFCOM - the communications regulator. They regulate the TV and radio sectors, fixed line telecoms and mobiles, plus the airwaves over which wireless devices operate.
