I was told there has benn a bench clearing brawl at the LLWS, is this true? Has there EVER been such a thing?.?

I've never seen one there, and I doubt there has been one at least since ESPN starting televising games.

Oh, and there's no way Texas would play Mexico in a semi-final game of any kind. American teams don't face any of the international teams until the finals. If you're going to make something up, at least make it believable.

LOL yeah, a texas-mexico semi-final, like that's even possible. No there has never been a brawl & there never will be. Do you honestly think these teams would work their butts off to get here just to get sent home for fighting? The players & coaches are well aware of the rules & boundaries & it's actually more strict when they are in the series. If you notice, even the coaches are mic'd so you can hear if they are doing anything inappropriate.

If that would've happened, I would know about it. Even way before the games were on tv. Unless it happened over 27 years ago, but even then I'd still know about it.

Yes, in a semi-finals game between Mexico and Texas, there was a bench clearing brawl similar to the Tigers-Red Sox brawl this year. Hit By Pitch, Hit by pitch, charge mound.

However, the LLWS association has kept this private on a need-to know basis, I know cuz' I was at the game.
