What do you think of women who choose to ride a motorcycle?

Also, sport bikes vs cruiser type bikes. And not as a passanger, but as the operator.

Update:

Okay, so I ride 4 wheelers and have rode street bikes years ago.

I like cruisers, but had a chance to get a good deal on a sport bike, so snatched it up. I just feel old to start riding bikes again. lol

Am a country girl with horses and the likes, so not a girly girl who is afraid to take a bit of a chance, just feel self- conscious these days.

    WE rock!!!

Been on 2 wheels all my driving life. Wouldn't trade it for anything. ;)

Go for it - you won't regret it.

Sport VS cruiser? It's whatever you prefer - if not both. Cruiser you can put on more miles easier, sport bike you can get there a lot faster. You get one (or more) of each, you get to choose. (Hell, add a classic Lambretta and you get around town on the cheap, can wear a skirt and get hit on for looking cool!)

Whatever you do, do it with style! Same goes with riding.

The passenger always rides behind the motorcycle operator The man rides behind the female motorcycle rider when the woman is driving it Any other way and it would crash. This has to be one of the funniest GWS questions I have answered. A woman complaining that she is riding pillion but let's face it if she wasn't she wouldn't be going anywhere (unless she was driving it). EDIT: I did my motorcycle training in my city with a school and most of the students were women PS Motorcycles are dubbed by surgeons as *donor cycles* because they get lots and lots of organs to give to living people awaiting transplants from 'former' motorcycle riders. I broke my shoulder in three places and had an 8 hour surgery after my motorcycle slipped up on an oil patch at a red light and I was stationary when it happened. Idiotic machines - lost two friends because of them

I like women who ride, especially sport bikes and dirt bikes. My girlfriend has 4 bikes, which is about right. I don't think too much of cruisers or their riders, unless they also ride something useful. However, I make an exception for any woman who rides; whatever works for you is ok. You are never too old to take up riding again, unless you are physically no longer able to do it.

Cruiser style bikes and a female just seem to go hand in hand. Women make darn fine scenery during rides. Just ride with care and remember...............any poster here that has BART in their screen name ANYWHERE is a troll.

I think the same thing as with the guys that I see on two wheels -- there goes another rider who loves the open road like I do.

Women riders are a cut above average. I married a lady rider and now we have a daughter who rides.

Good for you. I went for a dual purpose, it looks like I prefer the unpaved roads..

I love it. They obviously have decided not to wait for exciting things to happen but have gone out and done something about it.
