is begging on Y! Answers a reportable offense?

I've read the Community Guidelines, User Agreement, etc., but don't see this specific issue addressed.

I've recently become interested in Webkinz, and have started trying to answer some of the questions on that topic. Webkinz are cute stuffed animals that come with a one time use only code that you can use to activate an on-line version of your stuffed animal. You then get to play games with your animal, buy it clothes, build it a house, etc. As I've said, these codes can only be used once, and after one year your account expires if you don't buy a new stuffed animal with a new code.

Many of the questions on Y! Answers are "can someone give me their webkinz account name and password? I just want to play the arcade games for an hour" Those are obviously phishing and I report them as such. The ones that I think should be reportable are "can someone give me an unused webkinz code? I can't get a new one because *insert lame reason here*"

It's certainly annoying to see people begging for codes that someone else had to spend $5 - $15 to get, but is it reportable? I think what annoys me most, is that webkinz are targeted towards a rather young age group, and some of the people that actually answer with real webkinz codes, are just kids that don't know any better. Yes, I know you're supposed to be 13 to get a Y! Answers, but we all know that there are kids younger than that on here.

I think those questions would relate to exploiting the community and not following the Q & A format.

    "Exploiting the community

Yahoo! Answers is a place to gain knowledge, not customers, page views, or dates. If you have years of experience in something, have a special hobby, own your own business, or if you are a knowledge partner, it's OK to accompany a good, on-topic answer with a link to your website, blog, or email to offer more information. However, it is not OK to post links that are unrelated to the topic or are clearly meant only to solicit others for personal and financial gain. Also prohibited are solicitations like "Will you add me as a contact?" or propositioning people"

Begging for codes could be considered as Exploiting under the guidelines since it is "solicit(ing) others for personal and financial gain". It also might come under the provisions pertaining to the legal use of software and other intellectual property.

    Yes, it is.

It is solicitation, because it is asking for something.

EDIT - sorry, forgot the solicitation link)

Common sense goes a long way here, but basically, you cannot spam, advertise, or solicit on Answers.

    BACK TO ORIGINAL ANSWER

It is also not a question:

    from http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers/abuse/gui...

This means when you post a question, it must be written in the form of a question. When you post an answer, it must attempt to answer the question being asked.

Yes begging is called soliciting. The rule for this site is a question must seek knowledge or advice beneficial to all.

Soliciting accounts and passwords is also illegal and your account will be suspended

for my section, begging for money owed counts as the two solicitation or invasion of privateness (you're taking somebody's identity), and begging for factors (Yahoo! solutions factors) is factor-gaming. the two considered one of which could be mentioned.

Kids will be kids. Surely there are more important things to get upset about? it's very unnecessary to report something like that, and if you continually report those questions, in future, yahoo! will pay less attention to your reports.
