Would Be VA LOAN Eligible?
My hubby served in the Army from July 97' to March or April of 98, He went through BAsic and AIT But blew his shoulder and was medically Discharged.... I don't think he is eligible for a VA loan but thought I would see if any one knew otherwise??? I think there is a 2 year min. but was not sure considering med discharges?
My assumption is correct that HE IS NOT eligible?? I think I misunderstand your explanation?
Ok so I just checked his records and discharge forms and he was honorably discharged, but it does not site medical discharge.... So I am still wondering about his eligibility?

Your assumption is correct.
He is almost certainly eligible because of the medical separation (no pun intended).
Confirm this with the VA site. You can also phone any VA office in the nation.
Good luck.
......and tell your husband that his service to the nation is appreciated!
